Banco de Bogotá among the ten most inclusive companies in the country, has consolidated a robust diversity and inclusion strategy that aims to mobilize talent through the equitable generation of opportunities and respect for differences. Thus, the financial entity entered the top 10 of the National Ranking of Inclusive Companies 2022, developed by the Centro Nacional de Consultoría and the Colombian LGBT Chamber of Commerce (CCLGBTCO). The financial entity has worked hand in hand with expert entities such as Unicef, Acdi Voca, the CCLGBTICO, Fenascol, among others, to develop training programs for leaders and collaborators that promote diversity and inclusion in daily practices and thus build a culture of innovation; and programs for the inclusion of human capital with disabilities and down syndrome and for strengthening our talent selection and promotion processes to avoid unconscious bias; among others. “At Banco de Bogotá we are committed to diversity, inclusion and gender equity, which is why we have worked to strengthen our policies and organizational culture around these values. This position in the ranking of the most inclusive companies in Colombia is a validation of the work that we develop day by day under the leadership of the Inclusion and Diversity Management.

The ranking, which has been carried out three times in Colombia, is based on the Rules of Conduct for Companies (UN) and practical indicators that seek to regulate the behavior of companies, aimed at achieving a harmonious coexistence. Its purpose is to identify best practices and share them with other entities. Similarly, the banking entity obtained the Friendly Biz recertification from the CCLGBTCO, an international seal recognized in 15 countries where LGBT Chambers of Commerce operate, which endorses corporate initiatives to achieve spaces free of discrimination for two years. With the seal, the organization is trained in issues of diversity, equity and inclusion of according to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Human Rights Standards Human Rights of the UN, the pentagon of inclusion for Latin America and the indices of sustainable development for companies like the Dow Jones.
