Statement from the Centro Nacional de Consultoría (CNC)
Bogotá D.C., April 4, 2026
For 38 years, the CNC has worked with methodological rigor for all: right-wing and left-wing governments, conservative and progressive media outlets, private companies, and public entities. We currently conduct approximately 300 studies per year.
What is circulating on social media today is an SMS poll commissioned by a private client. It is not a voting intention survey, it is not representative of the general population, it will not be published, and the filters seen in the video serve a specific technical purpose. To portray this as an irregularity is to misunderstand—or choose to ignore—how opinion research works.
In recent months, the CNC's integrity and ethics have been publicly attacked. This is not just a mistake: it is a blow to democracy itself. When independent public opinion polling is discredited for partisan reasons, what is eroded is not an organization—it is the country's ability to honestly understand itself.
We live in an era where inconvenient data is attacked, and bad faith travels faster than evidence. Continuing down this path harms us all.

The piece also serves as a valuable reminder that critical thinking and source verification are more important than ever in today's digital environment. The CNC clarified that the information circulating…
The funniest part of Drive Mad is how one tiny mistake can completely flip the vehicle over. It turns simple driving mechanics into something that feels both frustrating and rewarding at the same time.
Thank you for addressing the misinformation circulating on social media. Transparency and clear communication are so important, especially when public opinion data can easily be misunderstood. It’s good to see CNC reaffirming its commitment to methodological rigor and accurate reporting. Hokhmah Heart Hotel
