Produced by PuntoCO Internet (GoDaddy Registry) in partnership with the Centro Nacional de Consultoría, A new version of the national study 'Perceptions and Use of the Internet in Colombia' was carried out. This initiative seeks to know how Colombians perceive the use of the large network.


For the sixth version, which by the way can be consulted for free at this enlace, it was found that 86% of those surveyed read some news on the internet that turned out to be false, a trend that grew by 4% compared to 2019.


At the same time, the respondents stated that they visit the web pages of the media several times a day (40% of the interviewees), while 22% of the interviewees only visit them once.


Let us remember that the study was based on surveys carried out in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Santanderes, Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, among men and women from 18 to 60 years of age, from all strata.
